Thanks to some greying hair and wrinkles, Carpenter appears to be somewhere in her forties, but is actually in her late thirties. Comes across as tough and jaded, but also burnt out and sometimes mean. Walks with a limp. Smells like dirt, river water, and motel bar soap. Voice is medium-pitched and sometimes rough, sometimes sarcastic, and has an accent people from modern-day Earth would read as Irish.
